Gobble Man is a Pac-Man clone, and for what it is, it's perfectly okay. It plays the same as the original game: Gobble dots, avoid ghosts, collect power pellets to turn the tables and chase the ghosts instead. It makes no attempt to hide its obvious influence, although the ghosts at least get new names. Each level layout is the same, although I think the ghosts get faster? Not sure that their AI is super good though. There is a two player mode but you just take turns playing. Gobble Man is a charming arcade-style maze game that closely resembles the iconic Pac-Man gameplay but with its own unique twists. Released for DOS, this game challenges players to navigate a maze, collect all the dots, and avoid being caught by relentless enemies. Key Features: Classic Maze Gameplay: Move Gobble Man through intricate mazes, collecting dots while avoiding enemy characters that chase you around the board. Completing a level requires clearing all the dots. Power-Ups and Bonuses: Collect power pellets to temporarily turn the tables, allowing Gobble Man to chase and "gobble" enemies for bonus points. Other bonus items occasionally appear, rewarding players with extra points or special abilities. Retro Graphics and Sound: Features charming CGA/EGA visuals with vibrant colors. Includes simple yet catchy sound effects to enhance the arcade-like experience. Progressive Difficulty: Each level introduces more challenging mazes and faster, smarter enemies. Keeps players on their toes with increasing intensity. High-Score Tracking: Encourages replayability by recording the top scores, inspiring players to beat their personal best.
